Crosland VK Unveils New Fully Automatic Die Cutter

September 2004

Crosland VK Limited, a major supplier of specialist machinery to the packaging and print finishing industries, has unveiled a new fully automatic die cutter which boasts high speed operation.

The new logo has been launched following a Management Buy-In and portrays a modern clean image which aims to stand out in a congested market place.

With 26 employees, Crosland is the UK 's largest independent supplier of die cutting machinery, and can trace its routes back to 1872. The company boasts unparalleled levels of after-care service and has secured European distribution rights to a range of automated machines which will facilitate future growth plans.

The new corporate marque has been developed by Manchester-based creative consultancy Appleby Bowers who are also working on a series of projects to raise Crosland's profile - such as public relations and promotional literature. The new logo is also being implemented on all the company's stationery.

Appleby Bowers' Creative Director Tony Lomas commented: "The new identity is based on the letter 'C' and the design is both clean and crisp to stand out in the market place."

Crosland is confident the new design will play an important role as the Manchester-based company is poised to exploit both existing and new European markets from its Trafford Park HQ.

Crosland's Group Sales Director Steve Waterhouse remarked: "As both a company and leading brand, Crosland enjoys an excellent market reputation and there is no doubt that its existing and future customers will benefit from the new management team's enthusiasm, dedication and commitment to take the company onto a new platform for success.

"The new corporate identity is the first obvious sign that we are moving the company into a new era of success. These are exciting times for everyone here."
